Role OverviewThe Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to support excavation, spoil removal, and general construction activities.
What You Will Do
Operate heavy equipment, perform daily equipment inspections, support excavation activities, and assist with rigging and flagging for cranes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work outdoors subject to local weather conditions, and have the ability to lift and carry 60 lbs. regularly if required.
Requirements
- Proven ability to operate various types of construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of equipment mechanics
- Familiarity with utility locate requirements across multiple states
- Ability to read construction plans
- Willingness to travel and work 5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours days as needed
