Equipment Technician-Implant

Join TSMC Washington and help power the future of technology. As an Implant equipment technician, you are responsible for working on AMAT 9500/XR-80/XR-LeapII/Quantum, Varian Viision80, Varian E500 and Axcelis GSD-HE/VHE implanters in the Implant equipment section.

What You Will Do

Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting duties on semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Will work on AMAT 9500, XR-80, XR-80 Leap II, Quantum III, Varian Vision V80, Varian E500, Axcelis GSD implanters.

Requirements

• Very strong computer skills
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude and/or experience.
• Demonstrate basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to use electronic and/or test equipment.
• Able to use tool manuals and follow established processes and procedures.
• Able to workday/or night shift (12-hour shift structure).
• Need superb attention to detail and follow safety rules while multitasking.
• A strong ability to learn quickly. Needs to be team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Previous semiconductor experience in Implanter area preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Experience with AMAT XR80/9500/Q3 implanters, Varian E500 Implanters, Axcelis GSD Implanters preferred.
• Associate or equipment in technical field, military experience/school.
• Hands on experience maintaining/troubleshooting household or automotive systems.
