Role OverviewA registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident assigned to his/her care, coordinating direct and indirect care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and Baptist Health emergency departments. This is a PRN nightshift position on the ER Regional Float Team, covering multiple locations in Kentucky.
What You Will Do
Assess patient clinical status, develop and implement a nursing plan of care, evaluate effectiveness, communicate and validate patient care information, and attend staff meetings.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires an active Kentucky RN license, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and 2-3 years ER experience. BSN or nursing certification is required unless grandfathered. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple ER locations as a float team member.
