The ER Tech provides technical support for physicians and nurses in the emergency department.

Preferred education: LVN, Paramedic, EMT basic or EMT intermediate, Med student, Nursing student. Required skills: computer knowledge, sterile technique. Required licensure/registration/certification: BLS. Preferred licensure/registration/certification: LVN, Paramedic, EMT Basic or EMT intermediate, ACLS, PALS. Required experience: knowledge of medical terminology and assisting patients with activities of daily living. Preferred experience: one year of experience as an LVN or Paramedic.
