Role OverviewThe role of ERP Business Systems Specialist offers the opportunity to optimize critical UKG: ProWFM processes, support system enhancements, and develop critical UKG: Telestaff processes. The position is part of the Time Management Team in the Statewide and Payroll and Time Management Division. The role requires a detailed-oriented and analytical individual who is eager to contribute their expertise.
What You Will Do
The ERP Business Systems Specialist will perform specialized duties relating to assigned ERP module(s) and/or function(s), troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, convey technical information to agency users, and communicate with technical teams.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of Peoplesoft or ERP system integrated module(s) and/or function(s), principles and practices of public administration related to financial management, human capital management, case management, security, and/or reporting, and ability to map business processes, utilize programming logic, validation testing, script writing, SQL, and other troubleshooting software.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of professional experience as a business analyst operating within enterprise resource planning (ERP), human capital management (HCM) or financial systems.
- Two (2) years of the General Experience must have been in a professional capacity independently performing a full range of tasks in support of a specific module(s) and/or function(s) within an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- College training in business administration, accounting, finance, public administration, human resources, information technology, information systems or a closely related field may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.
