Job Description
First Excel Title is seeking an Escrow Accountant to conduct financial aspects of escrow disbursement functions with a focus on operations in the southern states.

Requirements

  • Record receipts and disbursements of escrow funds for real estate settlement transactions.
  • Assist with the maintenance of escrow reconciliations and the clearance of outstanding reconciling items.
  • Maintain detailed records and documents for each transaction.
  • Resolve and identify discrepancies and imbalance issues.
  • Assistance with company-wide insurance & corporate audit examinations.
  • Ensure that department goals are met within provided timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure the timely completion of accounting functions.
  • Assist as needed in other states based on company needs.
  • Perform ad hoc duties & reporting as needed.
