Role OverviewThe Middle School ESOL teacher will provide tailored instruction of foundational skills in English to a diverse group of students who have had limited or no schooling as well as low proficiency levels in the English Language and Literacy domains. The teacher will be culturally proficient, self-motivated, and able to facilitate a successful learning community for English Language Learners (ELLs).
What You Will Do
Create and administer tests/assessments, develop lesson plans, provide direct instruction, and facilitate student learning. Collaborate with staff to meet the educational needs of students and provide coaching, co-teaching, observing, and feedback to ELLs.

Requirements
- KS Secondary teaching certificate
- ESOL endorsement
- 1 year prior teaching experience preferred with ESOL Students
