Role OverviewThe Estimating Manager is responsible for estimating assigned projects in the Electric Power Division and maintaining the estimating system. This role requires a minimum of two years technical education in the engineering field and at least 5 years of prior estimating experience. The Estimating Manager will lead and guide teams, develop estimating techniques, and evaluate bid results.
What You Will Do
Develops bid schedules, prepares project estimates, updates material pricing and labor rates, and maintains the estimating system. Prices change orders, evaluates bid results, and keeps project bid databases for future reference.

Requirements
- Minimum two years technical education in the engineering field, construction management coursework, or completion of apprenticeship in a respective discipline.
- At least 5 years of prior estimating experience with related construction industry projects.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- General computer skills, with a good working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and a good understanding of CAD/BIM drawings.
