Estimator - Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial interior construction projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial interior construction estimating, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids while working collaboratively with project managers, field teams, suppliers, and clients.

What You Will Do

Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects. Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.

Why It Might Be a Fit

3+ years of estimating experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior construction trades. Commercial interior construction estimating experience is required. Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and interior building systems. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior construction trades
• Commercial interior construction estimating experience is required
• High school diploma or GED required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and interior building systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents
• Experience performing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar platforms is preferred
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
