Role OverviewPrepare cost estimates for projects to aid in bidding and determining the price of products and services. Responsible for the estimation of all costs of projects, including raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation.
What You Will Do
Perform bid sheet preparation, solicit subcontractor proposals, take-offs, attend pre-bid walks, identify qualified subcontractors/suppliers, review quotes for completeness, and assist with the timely completion of client-required prequal packages.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Assist field personnel with estimating Change Orders, RFPs, and clarification of RFI’s, and assist with the preparation of budgets and buy-outs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in estimating
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints or architectural drawings
- Proficiency in Excel
