Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC/Mechanical Estimator to join our team at ControlAir Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, engineers, and GC partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of mechanical/HVAC estimating experience, preferably in commercial contracting
  • Strong proficiency in ductwork, comfort HVAC piping (VRF), and mechanical system design and installation practices
  • Demonstrated experience with conceptual and design/build estimating
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Wenduct, FastEST, Trimble, or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of results
  • Leadership experience or desire to grow into a management role
