European Business Development Manager

Requirements

• Develop and execute a European business development and sales plan to meet and exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets in the region.
• Work closely with the European Sales Director to prioritize markets, target accounts, tenders, and framework agreements across Europe.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities with ministries of defense, law enforcement agencies, distributors, OEM partners, and approved resellers.
• Lead or support capture efforts, including pre-RFP positioning, bid/no-bid analysis, and inputs into proposals and pricing in coordination with internal proposal, contracts, and compliance teams.
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities; provide accurate forecasts, account plans, and competitive intelligence to leadership.
• Represent the company at European trade shows, demonstrations, trials, and customer meetings; conduct product briefings and presentations as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and end-users to understand operational requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Coordinate closely with Headquarters teams (sales operations, contracts, finance, supply chain, engineering, and product management) to ensure that offerings and deliverables meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Monitor and report on European market trends, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and procurement processes relevant to body armor and protective equipment.
• Ensure all international business development activities comply with U.S. and international laws and regulations, including export controls, ITAR/EAR, and federal contractor obligations.
