Event Facilitator

As an Event Facilitator, you'll facilitate volunteers through our meal packing experience so it runs smoothly and hosts are satisfied. You'll drive equipment and materials to and from the event in a box truck. You will represent Rise Against Hunger with hosting groups and use your outgoing personality and public speaking skills to empower volunteers to join our mission to end hunger, one event at a time!

What You Will Do

You'll lead volunteers on packaging procedures, track volunteer registration, facilitate events, transport raw materials and equipment, promote donations and volunteer requests, and receive shipments of raw ingredients and supplies.

Requirements

• Strong presentation skills
• Multitasking skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with faith-based groups of all different religions
• Proficiency in Google/Microsoft office suite and other cloud-based software
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or operating pallet jacks
• Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings and early mornings
• Resourcefulness to work in different spaces and environments
