Job Description
Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Destination by Hyatt is seeking an Event Planning Manager to plan and coordinate group-related activities, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding expectations. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning experience and a bachelor's degree in hotel management or equivalent.
Requirements
Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with clients
Attain service scores related to client satisfaction score
Respond to client exit interviews and meeting planner evaluations
Ensure all functions are checked prior to client's arrival
Communicate with clients via telephone contact, written correspondence, and in person
Maintain client files, making sure they are kept organized and current with all information
Communicate effectively with Operational Departments
Preside/attend weekly-designated meetings
Assist any department as is necessary due to business levels
