Role Overview

Event Sales Associate will deliver warm and memorable experiences for every guest and client, working with the Event Sales Coordinator and Catering Sales Manager(s). The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving, and financial management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, off-site catering, or hotel/cultural attraction catering venues.

What You Will Do

The Event Sales Associate will assist with daily duties, handle birthday inquiries, upsell and detail events, prepare contracts and internal documents, and provide thorough communication with clients. They will also work with Catering Operations, Culinary Team, and other departments to ensure events are executed with operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Financial management, merchandising, analytical, planning, and leadership skills
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs)
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
