Job Description
We are seeking an Event Sales & Planning Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency Morristown. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and servicing the local event market, planning group bookings, and managing events from start to finish. Requirements
2+ years of experience in hotel sales, event management, catering, or a related hospitality role
Proven ability to manage events from contract to execution, including planning, coordination, and on-site oversight
Strong understanding of sales processes, including prospecting, contracting, upselling, and client relationship management
Experience working with group, social, corporate, and/or catering events
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client and planner relationships
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Culinary, AV, and Revenue Management teams
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
