Role OverviewThe Event Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assisting in all Event Service (Banquet) activities at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa. This full-time role supervises room set-ups, service, and clean-up of all event functions, and may assist in scheduling required staff. The supervisor promotes a positive work environment through open communication, empathy, and mutual respect.
What You Will Do
Supervise event setup, ensuring all details meet Hyatt standards and client requirements. Coordinate with kitchen and stewarding departments for food and beverage event needs. Direct Event Services staff throughout events to ensure excellent customer service. Maintain communication with clients and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Responsible for overseeing event setup, and ensuring all details are within Hyatt standards and client requirements
- Coordinate with the kitchen and stewarding departments with food and beverage event needs
- Ensure food and beverage presentation meet the Hyatt Hotels standards
- Direct Event Services staff throughout the event, and ensuring an excellent customer service experience
- Anticipate any issues and/or resolving complaints from guests in a timely manner
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the duration of the event or function, ensuring satisfaction
- Ensure health and safety compliances at all times
- Able to work well under pressure
