Job Description
The Event Set-up Supervisor will be responsible for the set-up and tear-down processes of all event functions at Hyatt Regency Columbus, managing the event space, working closely with the Events and Event Services departments, and overseeing a team of 10. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication and coordination skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Requirements

  • 1 year+ of Event Setup Experience in a hotel environment
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel event setting or equivalent
  • Physical stamina to lift, carry, and push 25lbs+ and tolerate continuous walking and standing
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Unafraid of guest service related tasks, projects and responsibilities
