Job Description
Eataly is seeking an Events and Education Chef to oversee programming in La Scuola, a cooking school and event space. The successful candidate will teach cooking classes, plan events, and manage kitchen staff. They will also supervise the production of food items for events and oversee kitchen mise-en-place and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of cooking experience
  • 1+ year of management experience
  • Working knowledge of kitchen equipment, food production procedures, and safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of speaking in front of large groups
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture
  • Italian language skills highly preferred
