Job Description
Newman University seeks an Events Coordinator to lead campus events and external rental functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends when needed
  • Proven experience as event manager or project manager
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time in a work environment
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer-service orientation and a passion for the attendee experience
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
