Job Description
Newman University seeks an Events Coordinator to lead campus events and external rental functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Requirements
High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Flexibility to work nights and weekends when needed
Proven experience as event manager or project manager
Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time in a work environment
Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
A knack for problem-solving
Customer-service orientation and a passion for the attendee experience
A team player with leadership skills
Legally authorized to work in the United States
