As an Event Manager, you'll orchestrate meetings and social events, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, the banquet team, and hotel management.
What You Will Do
Coordinate meetings, social events, and special functions, ensure guest satisfaction, collaborate with the Banquet Manager, and develop client menus and contracts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You'll bring at least two years of experience in catering and/or hospitality sales management, strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze client needs and negotiate pricing.
Requirements
- At least two years previous catering and/or hospitality sales management experience at a property of similar size and/or quality
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. College degree preferred.
- Previous Delphi experience preferred.
- Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong multiple project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze client needs and negotiate pricing.
- Ability to work under time pressures and extended hours.
