Job Description
We are seeking an Evidence Intake Technician to process, examine, and preserve evidence and property submissions collected from crime scenes or hazardous situations. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity and safety of evidence handling, manage evidence in the laboratory information management system, and oversee evidence destruction requests.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic, including calculating fractions, decimals, and percentages, and in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • 12 months of experience working in a forensic laboratory, biology, medical office laboratory, or chemistry laboratory, law enforcement agency, or legal environment
  • 6 months of training or experience in inventory control, including receiving, storing, and dispensing of materials
