Role OverviewThe EVS Associate aides in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping, performing cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods to provide patients, visitors, and staff with a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment.
What You Will Do
Perform cleaning functions, maintain equipment, dispose of biohazards, and maintain a safe and clean environment in assigned work areas.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must comply with established personal protective equipment requirements, follow hospital/departmental policy on hand hygiene, and observe safety precautions when pushing equipment.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in housekeeping or cleaning in a healthcare environment preferred but not required
