Role OverviewThe EVS Tech II reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, a leader in the healthcare industry. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, offices, public areas, and treatment rooms. The position is full-time, day shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) with alternating weekends and holidays, located in Palos Heights, IL.
What You Will Do
Clean and maintain assigned areas daily, including collecting trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces. Follow patient isolation and contact precautions, stock supplies, maintain cart and equipment, and promote safety by using wet floor signs and PPE. Communicate issues to supervisors and establish interpersonal relationships with hospital personnel.
