Job Description
As an Execution Lead Zone Engineer within General Assembly Manufacturing Engineering, you will lead a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for developing and launching manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle—from concept through plant integration to steady-state production—ensuring flawless execution across new programs, model changes, and current production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering, including 2 years of launch experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in process engineering and manufacturing systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Equipment, Global Launch Process, and Vehicle Development Process.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex projects and engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel extensively during product launches (50-75% travel).
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to coach and develop others.
