Job Description
The Office of Research and Policy Development is recruiting for an Executive Agency Counsel M-1 to provide legal counsel to DSS/HRA/DHS managers and executive staff on legal matters related to social services policy interpretation and implementation of welfare reform policies.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • Four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience subsequent to admission to any bar
  • Eighteen months of experience in the supervision of other attorneys in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity
  • Ability to remain a Member of the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of employment
