Role OverviewThe Executive Assistant will provide direct administrative support to the Program Director of the Gender Equity and Governance (GEG) Program, supporting complex scheduling and travel coordination, executive communications, meeting preparation, research, and program-wide coordination across a complex, globally oriented program portfolio.
What You Will Do
The Executive Assistant will coordinate the Program Director's dynamic calendar, manage scheduling, travel planning, and logistical support, prepare expense reports, and handle related administrative processes. They will also research relevant topics, prepare background materials and briefings, and draft, edit, and proofread correspondence and other materials.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of work experience in an administrative, program support, communications, or research role
- Prior experience in a grantmaking organization, nonprofit, think tank, or mission-driven institution
- Genuine interest in and developing knowledge of GEG's areas of focus: gender equity, reproductive health and rights, governance, and global development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong research skills
- Comfort with and curiosity about AI tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate logistical needs and proactively prepare for and execute them
- Excellent computer skills
