Role Overview

The Executive Assistant will be a primary strategic partner and force multiplier for the President and Executive Director. This role requires exceptional executive functioning skills to anticipate the President/Executive Director’s needs, manage their time efficiently and productively, and execute complex administrative and tactical duties with precision.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include serving as primary point of contact, managing a complex calendar, making certain the President/Executive Director is briefed for meetings, partnering with the Communications and Development Teams, designing and maintaining systems for tracking tasks, and coordinating travel itineraries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 8 years of experience providing direct support to C-Suite Executives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior ability in task initiation, emotional regulation, working memory, and cognitive flexibility
  • Experience gathering information to make thoughtful and quality procedural decisions/judgments
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including experience in project management
  • Exceptional attention to detail, anticipatory decision-making skill, and self-starter
  • Professionalism and diplomatic skills
  • Ability to interact with high-level individuals internally and externally
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • Consistent exercise of sound judgment
  • Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with many different personalities
  • Ability to multitask and juggle numerous projects and tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office, in particular, advanced MS Outlook scheduling
  • Experience with project management software and other business-related databases
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with a diverse community

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
  • Ability to work long hours and travel up to 20% of the time, as needed
