Executive Chef

As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the culinary operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the salad bar and displays are merchandised and appropriate signage is visible, and for managing team members progressive disciplinary procedures. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for ensuring the department complies with all health codes, sanitation and safety regulations, and maintaining a Health Dept. rating of 'A'.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring accurate inventories, participating in monthly, quarterly and yearly department inventories, attending department BASH and Strategy meetings, and providing timely feedback by completing and delivering comprehensive 90 day and mid-year Performance Chats. You will also be responsible for managing team members progressive disciplinary procedures, ensuring the department complies with all health codes, sanitation and safety regulations, and maintaining a Health Dept. rating of 'A'.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience at senior level in a grocery store or similar environment
• Bachelor's Culinary Degree
• Food Safety and Sanitation certification
• Strong culinary creativity and innovation
