Job Description

The Chatwal Lodge is seeking an Executive Chef to join the team at The Chatwal Lodge located in the Lower Hudson Valley region of the Catskills Mountains. The position demands creativity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards.

Requirements

  • 6 years or more of progressive hotel Culinary experience (typically with Hyatt)
  • With opening hotels, previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
  • At least 4 years experience in a senior role in a culinary environment
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
