Job Description
The Executive Chef will provide districtwide culinary leadership, lead menu innovation, recipe and product development, catering operations, and culinary training to ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, culturally relevant, scalable, and compliant with USDA regulations.

Requirements

  • Lead districtwide culinary and menu strategies
  • Develop, implement, and improve district menus
  • Collaborate with menu planners to ensure menus are nutritionally compliant, cost-effective, and operationally feasible
  • Research, evaluate, test, and select food products
  • Create and maintain productive relationships with vendors, brokers, and manufacturers
  • Coordinate and conduct students taste tests, focus groups, and surveys
  • Utilize participation data, production records, and student feedback to continuously improve menu and increase student participation
