Role OverviewThe Executive Director, Digital Product Management - Research will be the senior digital technology leader for Research. They will translate Research strategy and portfolio priorities into a coherent technology, data, and AI agenda that accelerates science, improves the quality and reuse of scientific data, and creates durable advantage in how Amgen discovers medicines.
What You Will Do
The Executive Director will own the technology environment for Research, including benchtop environment, electronic lab notebooks, scientific workflows, and the data products and platforms that connect Research disciplines. They will lead a talented organization and serve as a trusted thought partner to scientific leaders, ensuring that Research teams have dependable, well-designed capabilities that enable better and faster science.

The candidate will be an experienced leader with the following qualifications: a doctorate degree and 6 years of technology experience, or a master's degree and 10 years of technology experience, or a bachelor's degree and 12 years of technology experience, and 6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources.
