Job Description
The Department of Social Services (DSS) is hiring an Executive Director for Facilities Operations to oversee the management of facilities and operations. The role involves collaborating with senior management, implementing policies and procedures, and overseeing collaborative efforts between facilities operations and other units.

Requirements

  • Eight years of full-time experience in construction, repair, alteration and/or rehabilitation of multiple dwellings, commercial, industrial or public buildings
  • Experience as a general contractor, superintendent of construction, procurement specialist, evaluator responsible for cost estimation, or as a field supervisor or as an inspector
  • 18 months of experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity involving responsibility for a large number of buildings
