Role Overview

The Executive Director is responsible for maintaining the financial health of the community and creating a culture that fosters Safety, Belonging, Something to Look Forward to, and Peace of Mind for residents and their families. They will lead by example, build relationships, and earn the trust and respect of others.

What You Will Do

The Executive Director will drive culture within the community, create meaningful connections with residents, and support the sales process to convert prospective residents into actual residents. They will also lead daily stand-ups, review concerns, and address issues related to the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Health Care, Gerontology, or equivalent experience
  • Fulfillment of any necessary state-specific certification for Licensed Assisted Living or equivalent
  • Understanding of federal and state laws related to the operations of a Senior Assisted Living Community
  • Exceptional hospitality skills with knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of aging adults and their families
  • Dedication to helping others and making a difference in the lives of the people they encounter every day
  • Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
