Role Overview

The Executive Director is responsible for maintaining the financial health of the community while creating the best experience for residents, employees, and families. They will lead by example, build relationships, and earn trust and respect of others.

What You Will Do

The Executive Director will drive culture within the community, create meaningful connections with residents, and ensure their safety, belonging, and peace of mind. They will also lead daily stand-ups, support other functional leaders, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Health Care, Gerontology, or equivalent experience
  • Fulfillment of any necessary state-specific certification for Licensed Assisted Living or equivalent
  • Demonstrates passion for leading and developing people as well as promoting excellent service delivery to residents
  • Exceptional hospitality skills with knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of aging adults and their families
  • Dedication to helping others and making a difference in the lives of the people they encounter every day
  • Ability to form meaningful relationships with residents, team members and families to increase satisfaction and grow census
  • Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
