Role OverviewThe selected candidate will serve as the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives overseeing the Research and Innovation team in the Family Services Division (FSD). The team delivers community-based services across NYC to improve safety, well-being, and permanency for thousands of families each year.
What You Will Do
The Executive Director will oversee the work of 2-3 employees, provide strategic thought partnership to staff, conceptualize and provide methodological framework for research and project designs, and lead the development, procurement, and implementation of new initiatives.

Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
- Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity
- Three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above requirements
