Role OverviewThe Executive Director, Medical Safety Assessment will provide strategic oversight and delivery of medical safety assessment for assets in therapeutic area by effective management of safety physician team. The role will oversee safety activities and benefit-risk strategies for assigned compound(s)/program(s) and chair the product/TA Safety Management Team (SMT).
What You Will Do
The Executive Director will oversee safety activities and benefit-risk strategies for assigned compound(s)/program(s), chair the product/TA Safety Management Team (SMT), and oversee team in evaluation & management of signals emerging from any data source. They will also drive change in the organization and adoption of new processes.
