Job Description
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation (HPD) seeks an Executive Director for the Division of Portfolio Management & Conversions to oversee the Conversions, Rental Assistance, and Construction Monitoring and Completions programs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management abilities, with experience in affordable housing finance and lending, and a track record of closing transactions.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Four years of full-time satisfactory professional experience in real estate or housing programs
  • At least 18 months of executive, administrative, or managerial experience
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including financial modeling and financial statement analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of closing transactions
  • Knowledge of real estate development, affordable housing finance and lending, and HPD development programs
