Role Overview

Performs advanced, senior-level administrative and professional support work for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) Executive Director’s Office (EDO). Provides high-level administrative and technical assistance to the Executive Director and EDO staff.

What You Will Do

Coordinates and manages administrative operations, greets visitors, handles incoming communications, develops and maintains administrative policies and procedures, coordinates meetings and related logistics, arranges travel, and provides administrative support for Board and advisory committee meetings.

Requires frequent interaction and coordination with the TxDMV Board, State Legislative Offices, and external stakeholders. May provide guidance and assign work to others. Works under minimal supervision with significant latitude for initiative, independent judgment, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three (3) years' experience directly supporting an executive level position
  • Valid Class 'C' driver's license
  • Satisfactory driving record
