Role OverviewThe Executive Steward is responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the Stewarding Department to maximize labor efficiency; maintain budgeted labor costs; guarantee safe working condition; and keep the highest standards of sanitation. This role oversees all aspects of the daily operation of the Stewarding Department, schedules employees, and ensures compliance with Health Department standards.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling all stewards, pot washer and night cleaners, hiring, training, and coaching employees, conducting staff performance reviews, maintaining sanitation, and reconciling quarterly cleaning expenses.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and possess refined communication and leadership skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- Bilingual English-Spanish required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Refined communication skills
- Strong leadership skills is highly recommended
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
