Role Overview

The Exemptions Processor will process multiple exemptions and abatements program categories, ensuring they are applied to the correct property owner and borough, block, and lot (BBL) in NYC. The role involves reviewing, researching, and processing applications, updating renter and homeowner applications, and ensuring accuracy of all data and applications.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include reviewing and processing applications, updating renter and homeowner applications, ensuring accuracy of data, responding to inquiries, accessing applicant data, and utilizing the agency's Property Tax System (PTS) to process exemptions and abatements applications.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
