Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced civil litigation attorney to join our New York Automotive and Trucking Negligence department. The successful candidate will have previously managed a full caseload of motor vehicle negligence claims and/or general liability claims.
What You Will Do
Draft pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other case related documents, communicate with clients, insurance company contacts, and opposing counsel, and take and defend depositions, handle arbitrations, and argue motions.

Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in civil litigation with a specialization in either motor vehicle negligence and/or general liability
- Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other complex assignments
- Experience in handling a full caseload
- Experience in managing junior attorneys and/or staff
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
