Experienced Private Duty In Home Caregiver

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, dependable, and outgoing caregiver to provide one on one care for two private duty clients located in Nashville, TN 37205, and White House, TN 37188.

What You Will Do

Provide companionship, personal care assistance, fall prevention support, mobility assistance, meals, hydration, light housekeeping, and help with daily activities according to each client's individualized care plan.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Have previous professional caregiving, personal care, home care, or related experience
• Have experience assisting with activities of daily living
• Be comfortable providing personal care assistance
• Have experience supporting older adults with mobility limitations
• Understand fall prevention principles
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be friendly, outgoing, and conversational
• Be proactive and attentive to client needs
• Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Have reliable Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon availability
• Have Monday OR Tuesday afternoon availability for the White House assignment
• Be able to work the approved morning and afternoon hours
• Be comfortable working in a home with a cat
• Be able to work independently in private residences
• Follow individualized care plans and office instructions
• Have reliable personal transportation
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Maintain current automobile insurance
• Have an acceptable driving record
• Have reliable access to a smartphone
• Be able to use electronic scheduling and documentation
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Follow attendance and call off procedures
• Complete required orientation and training
• Successfully complete applicable employment screenings
• Safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
