Role OverviewThe Extended Care Lead supports the mission of St. Joseph Catholic Academy by providing proactive supervision and ensuring the safety, well-being, and care of students participating in the Extended Care program. The position is responsible for supervising students before and after the regular school day while creating a safe, welcoming, and caring environment.
What You Will Do
The Extended Care Lead will provide active and proactive supervision of students, maintain a safe and caring environment, follow all school policies and procedures related to student safety and supervision, communicate appropriately with students, families, and school staff, and help maintain an organized and engaging Extended Care program.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of childcare experience, preferred
- Must submit an Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Application for Ministry within the first week of employment
- Participate in an EIM Basic abuse prevention training workshop within 60 days of submitting a complete Application for Ministry
- Maintain EIM compliance during the entire term of employment
