Role OverviewThe External Audit Supervisor works under the direction of the External Audit Manager 2 within the Office of Grants Administration (OGA) – EXM Unit. The role assists with annual Risk Analysis process, completes an external audit plan, and supervises external auditors assigned to the OGA-EXM Unit. The supervisor plans and schedules subrecipient monitoring reviews, reviews work assignments, and justifies audit recommendations.
What You Will Do
The External Audit Supervisor will plan and schedule subrecipient monitoring reviews, review work assignments, justify audit recommendations, and adjust audit procedures to accommodate complex or unexpected audit situations. The supervisor will also answer questions related to complex issues of cost auditing and interpretation of applicable federal or state regulations and fiscal requirements.

Requirements
- Completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting, business administration, computer science, or related field
- 4 years of experience in auditing or accounting, including 2 years of auditing experience in accordance with auditing standards or prescribed management policies and procedures
