Job Description
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is seeking an External Auditor 3 to join the Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services (OFMS) Monitoring Services Division. As an External Auditor 3, you will plan and lead monitoring reviews of subrecipients administering programs that support low-income households through energy assistance and community services.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding and experience preparing workpapers and drafting reports
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal rules for managing federal funds
  • Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and identify non-compliance
  • Clear writing for workpapers and reports; strong verbal skills for interviews and exit conferences
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, patience, observation skills, organization, attention to detail, and adaptability
