Delegate staff assignments, coordinate break and lunch times, train staff, and ensure duties are properly accomplished. Model best practices and mentor new staff.

- Coordinate break and lunch times to ensure adequate coverage
- Train staff as needed, and assist them to ensure duties are properly and promptly accomplished
- Model best practices and mentor new staff
- Ensure staff and clients uphold shelter policies and procedures
- Ensure clients receive appropriate information on available services, community resources, and referrals
- Establish and maintain professional rapport with all staff and outside agencies
- Report staff performance or behavior concerns by completing related Incident Reports
