Job Description
The Eye Care Educator role at Syneos Health is responsible for educating Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) on essential eye exams for patients with Relapsed refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) and communicating results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams. The role requires a 4-year BA/BS degree, 3+ years of experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing, or 1-3 years of direct clinical oncology experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A 4-year BA/BS degree is required.
  • 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing, with a focus on oncology or specialized medical education.
  • Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience, including oncology education, patient care, and interaction with physicians.
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain complex oncology concepts to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Expertise: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in developing and delivering product-specific training and educational materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively across all levels of management and departments
