Job Description
Eye Care Educator provides critical support to educate & inspire Eye Care Professionals on the critical role they play in caring for cancer patients with Relapsed refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) on the necessary eye exams and their associated importance for patients. This role is designed to empower Healthcare Professionals to effectively carry out eye council patients on OAEs and communicate results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A 4-year BA/BS degree is required.
  • 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing, with a focus on oncology or specialized medical education.
  • Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience, including oncology education, patient care, and interaction with physicians.
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain complex oncology concepts to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Expertise: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in developing and delivering product-specific training and educational materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively across all levels of management and departments
  • Specialty pharmacy/payer experience is preferred
  • CRN, NPs, PAs with eye care experience is highly preferred
