Role Overview

The F-15 Platform Structures Senior Leader will manage, develop, and motivate employees performing design, integrity/airworthiness, and manufacturing engineering efforts for F15 customers. This position will partner with the F-15 Platform Structures organization responsible for F-15EX production and will be aligned to Mechanical & Structural Engineering (MSE) Capability.

What You Will Do

Manage employees and mid-level managers performing engineering and technical activities, provide technical guidance, and make technical decisions based on data and experience. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure integration across the value stream and effectively communicate findings and project status to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in mechanical, aerospace or civil engineering
  • 10+ years of technical experience in mechanical and/or structural engineering role
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing large or complex teams of managers and/or non-management employees
  • 3+ years of experience effectively leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
